The Vancouver Sun carries inserts on Wednesday to Saturday. The Province carries inserts on Sunday only.
Because availability is so limited, bookings must be made early. First right of refusal for the same date in the following year does not apply. We are able to put advertisers on a wait list should there be a cancellation. Our insert coordinator will alert the account executive should this occur. He/she will then alert the wait-listed advertiser.
Cancellation Policy In order to best serve our customers we will require a full four weeks notice should an advertiser have to cancel an insert date. In the event that we receive less than four weeks notice and we are not able to resell the date, the advertiser will be responsible for the lost revenue for the cancelled insert position.
Specifications The advertiser is responsible for supplying the correct size, weight and number of inserts as described in the attached specification sheet no later than three working days prior to the insertion date. In the case of unusual shapes, total weight and sizes an advance sample of the insert should be sent to the account executive to ensure that no mechanical problems will occur.
Packaging and Shipping Specifications must be adhered to when packaging and sending inserts to us since variations could cause newspaper delivery delays. Note: Maximum number of pages per insert depends on the number of other inserts running that day and the size of the newspaper. For sizes other than those specified, please check with your advertising representative.

Size Limitations:
- Minimum Inserted Size: 1 page up to 48 pages - 5" x 7" - folded edge must be along 7" side
- Maximum Inserted Size: 128 pages - 11" x 12 1/2 " - folded edge must be along 12 1/2" side or 64 pages - 22" x 12 1/2" folded, no lap fold
Minimum Weight: Single sheets must be no less than 80lb. stock. Heavier weights and unusual specifications must be approved by the Post Press Office before booking. We'd be happy to test a sample for you.

The Pallet Tag Must Include:
- Name of Newspaper
- Insert name
- Edition Date of insertion
- Total number of inserts on the pallet
- Total number of pallets in the shipment
NOTE: If insert is an unusal size or shape we must test it before booking can be confirmed.
